Poly-V Belts

Today, the number of auxiliary components installed around the engine has increased, and with it the need to transmit ever greater power in tighter spaces and at higher operating temperatures than in the past.

The Poly-V belt is characterised by triangular teeth made from a very resistant synthetic polymer (EPDM), which extend along its entire length. To prevent the belt from stretching too much due to its elasticity, strands, usually of braided Kevlar, are inserted.

It is used to equip the latest generation engines.
